Here are great gifts and resources for your perfect day. Do you need gift ideas? Are you planning a wedding? Below are resources - rings, dresses, flowers, decorations, honeymoon vacations, planner, scheduling and more. Figure out all the steps for a perfect wedding. Make it affordable but still elegant. There is a lot of planning for most weddings of a decent size - lots to plan for, lots to account for. Only small weddings and elopings will need little planning, but there are always details you don't want to forget about. Even a reception a week or so later needs planning.

You want the perfect wedding (and the perfect marriage) - with few if any glitches - usually that won't happen. There are bound to be differing opinions and demands, moms who want to plan their version of the perfect wedding (or your future mom-in-law) - they forget that the bride is the one who is getting married, and lots of other situations that hamper the smooth course you want. Even the things that go wrong - try to find humor in them - and later you can tell stories that may seem funny or endearing about it. The below guide is primarily for the bride - to follow and to delegate from.

WEDDING PLANNER & SCHEDULE - try to schedule things in advance, or you risk having to "make do"

One Year Prior:

8-10 Months Prior

  • Look for your wedding dress and ideas for a veil or headpiece. Email for custom-made veils - the way you want it. I've made many for friends and acquaintances, mostly without being in the same state!
    The Origin of the Veil
  • Think of the size you want to be in your dress - and start working on weight loss now before getting measured for a dress fit - this book is ideal for you. "A Bride's Guide To Fast Fitness + Weight Loss"
  • Bridal Fabrics - make your own or select your favorite fabrics for your dress and bridesmaid dresses.
  • Figure out what you will want or need for gifts
  • Register for the gifts at the store(s) you like.

  • Look for a photographer/videographer for the ceremony and schedule him/her.
  • Figure out your honeymoon and all its logistics. Honeymoons, Vacations, Travel - for less! Arrange your trips here and save money.
  • Talk to your bridesmaids for their opinions on the dresses they will wear.
  • Perhaps You are Interested in Western Wedding Attire & Accessories?

6-8 Months Prior

  • Decide on and order the invitations (and announcements).
  • Decide on the final guest list, based on cost and preferences.
  • Figure out your colors and choice of attendants' clothes, or any theme you want to follow. This is an excellent source of unique books and theme ideas for weddings.
  • Find a florist who can work with your colors and schedule. Flowers
  • Schedule your music and DJ's, singers for the reception.
  • Figure out where you will live after you are married - perhaps look to buy a home. You might need Financing.
  • Put up a wedding website or have someone else build it for you. Personal Websites for Weddings - Create your Personal Website with a few simple clicks. Try it free. Start now so it's not a priority later when everything else needs to happen.

3 Months Prior

1 Month Prior

  • Mail the invitations.
  • Have final fitting with the wedding dress, including the bustling of it. Custom alterations in Denver area.
  • Pick out the gifts for the bridal attendants (maid of honor's to be more special). Jewelry or Engraved Groomsmen Gifts or Engraved Bridal Party Gifts.
  • Start thinking about the Wedding Speeches.
  • Remind your maid of honor to throw you a Bridal Shower - Choose Print & Play Bridal Shower Games, and don't forget about the Bachelor Party - make sure both of you are ok with the terms of the parties - many fights have begun over these parties getting out of hand. Respect each other with limits.

    Bachelorette party supplies!

  • Discuss the games at the reception if any, with the attendants - for example, if the bride is "kidnapped" for ransom. The attendants need to understand the game in order to play their parts.
  • Make sure all traveling guests have accomodations.
  • Schedule all luncheons and dinners.
  • Address the announcements.
  • Purchase the goodies and knick-knacks you plan to decorate with or give out. Favors & Bridal Gifts Here.

2 Weeks Prior

1 Week Prior

  • Pack your bags if you are honeymooning or staying overnight after the wedding.
  • Make sure announcements are ready to go.
  • Schedule the rehearsal 1-2 days before your special day, and invite the guests - family and attendants with spouses.
  • Confirm totals with the food service you hired.
  • Wrap the attendant gifts.
  • Finalize how you want your makeup, nails, and hair to look.
  • Get all your last minute trip details worked out.
  • Go over all the details of all aspects - dinners, luncheons, ceremony, reception.
  • Let go of the stress - it will all work out. Stress tips here.

The above wedding planner schedule is not all-inclusive, but gives you the very basic idea of what you must think about. Adjust it to your needs and wants.
