Keep a stock of common use batteries, such as AA, C, D, or transistor batteries for those new items you buy or that run down fast (like flashlights, radios, toys, alarm clocks, etc.) or may be needed for emergencies in case of power outages. Find those hard-to-find batteries and rechargeable batteries and get them fast - check below. Also - if you have a gadget that quits working, or does funny things (like plays a CD at ultra slow or wavy speed), check the batteries - that might be the culprit!
